The Beginning
It all began with an idea. For 19 years, Rev. Dr. Calvin O. Hazel worked at Radio Paradise as an announcer, Program Director and for the latter ten years as General Manager. In 1990 when the station was taken over by TBN, Pastor Hazel opened an office in downtown Basseterre, where he also opened a Recording Studio. From the Studio, he prepared his Radio Broadcast, The Old Time Gospel Hour.

The Old Time Gospel Hour has since been on the air for over 30 years and is heard throughout the Caribbean and the world on Dominion Radio.

The Growth
Out of The Old Time Gospel Hour, Dominion Radio Ministries was birthed. In 2008 Pastor Hazel decided to build his own Gospel Station to touch the lives of people in the Caribbean. Dominion Radio Station focuses on the real needs of the people in the Caribbean. The station features Caribbean Preachers and Caribbean music to name a few all in an effort to bless God's people in a Caribbean setting.
